Fair Housing Act : How can a Disable Person Benefit?

An excerpt from this Fair Housing Act states that “The Fair Housing Act requires owners of housing facilities to make reasonable exceptions in their policies and operations to afford people with disabilities equal housing opportunities”. This act covers too changes or renovations to be made for specific apartments or housing to give way to disabled persons. I just knew few of this stuff that counts on this act, can you add on some benefits that a Disable person can enjoy under the Fair Housing Act?
