International day for Disabled Persons
Ever year, United Nations observed a day for Disabled Persons. It is annually observed every third day of December with an objective to promote an awareness of disability issues, fundamental rights of persons with disabilities and of course with integration and interaction of people who are physically disable. This is initiated by World Program of Action for Disabled Persons and was declared last 1982 at UN General Assembly. How is this event beneficial to disabled persons, in general?
